Some new sets I've put up on Flickr

MCR2007
Adam Murphy at the Oxford Jam Factory
Gaurav and Hitesh in Oxford 07
Food Fun at Dan Japans

and a few nice photos of myself, of Ken, of Lucy and of [info]oxfordslacker, he wants to see you start wearing purple.

Lately I've
watched:   Paul Greengrass' Bloody Sunday (physically evoking)
                    Oliver Stone's JFK (educative)
Read:         Paul Levinson's Digital McLuhan (fab)
                    Karrie Fransman's comix (sits happily)

On the eve of his 34th birthday, Andrew Luke said, this calls for celibacion. Yep, just like Cliff Richard but with more swears.

Heres a snap of my graphic novel-in progress. Due out around Caption 2008.

(Still need [info]badasstronaut's permission to use a few photos she took of me with maps.)

Sean Duffield sent me this

"Written by Mark Thomas involving someone he thought a close friend at CAAT who turned out to be a spy for BAE systems (Weapon Manufacturer). Mark's tone is not of blame and anger, but confudion and recounting the story and he and his "friend's" time together and trying to ascertain which were monets of true fiendship and those of undercover faking. It's a fascinating story:

Thanks respected individuals for the kind words about my new 24 hour comic (link to in-progress photo)
I'd like to have it up on the web in the new year. Presently on sale at Camden or from myself at the address on my profile page.

I expect to be paid soon. So I will leave the bedsit inc. fund a bought round at a bar before Christmas.

I still miss my dog and am very sad about the dog-shaped space around.

I put a few photos of him up around me bedsit.

A few posts ago I asked if I had missed any particular worthy LJ posts or new life events ?

Too few of you responded.

Some out-takes from my last comic.

I've not been following Alex Jones lately. Instead exploring round the patches of Leary and McLuhan. Jones is just becomes too 'hot' in the McLuhan sense. However, hes a too-easily dismissed, and  I'll definitely be checking out his new movie 'End Game' when it airs in the next few weeks.

I'm up to the last chapter on Book Two of ABC Comics Promethea, which is 'Metaphore', when each page of the comic deals with a card from the major arcana. J.H Williams III and the other artists on the book do a fantabulous splendour. Everything you've ever heard about this book is absolutely true.

My Caption photos are now up on Flickr, and everything is Creative Commons. I'm told a photo I took of Gilbert Sheldon will be going over on Wikipedia. And my mid-morning tutor meet reveals I can now have a module from December 2006 properly marked. One less for the burden !

And I've been looking at photos of you.

If it all ends tomorrow, this city bore me Scott Free !
come home safely

Ah, courtesy of Oxford Library and Flickr,

I'm not sure I'm happy with those skin tones.

does anyone still use internet explorer ? by choice ?

i was really looking forward to getting my momentum into helping this mobilisation for the Rape Crisis Centre.

Fuck big brother, I've been given my seven days notice, almost surprise eviction. So, if anyone in the Oxford wants to offer couch or floor space for a few nights I'm gagging for it. Sad times these, when folk have become so disillusioned that they can't afford to wait another three days for cash in hand, and yes, I told him that. Except for the payroll department, who seem happy enough to wait four weeks after a jobs completion, or in my case, two and a half months

My computers acting tempramental again. Including prompting nightmares of it melding and folding. I'ma back to the jobsearch.

Carry on, carry on.

I drifted into Saturday augment of coach’s lazy bods and difficult in-trip sandwich-making. The Mile End tube station did not seem as efficient as Stepney Green for distance walking, though as the Great Hall venue is near a business sector, it seemed a geographically proficient and developmentally worthwhile walk. Symbolic of how these hard working folks in the industry are due to kick down the get-rich-quick pop up ad world of Marvel DC morally-depraved invade-the-high-street boy-breast-first. Doing things right, taking the time to. Walking the walk.
